What is it?
This is primarily a galvanneal defect. It looks like shiny, unalloyed areas on a galvannealed product. The shiny appearance can be across the sheet but it is usually near coil edges. Is also known as poor galvanneal or shiny spots. The shiny areas are galvanized, but not fully annealed by the galvannealing furnace.
