What is it?
Drawing properties are quality designations of carbon steel. Some designations, such as Drawing Steel (also known as DS or DQ), identify that the steel contains less than 0.05 percent carbon, and is more ductile than commercial quality. Other designations include commercial steel, deep-drawing steel, and extra-deep-drawing steel.
