What is it?

This steel has a coating consisting of aluminum and zinc. The steel is galvanized then coated. This coating has extreme corrosion resistance to protect it from the elements and generally has a longer lifespan than regular galvanized steel.

Application

Galvalume steel is a high corrosion resistance coated steel most commonly used in roofing. This steel can also be used for siding applications, automotive parts, and appliances.
