What is it?

This steel goes through the hot rolling process, and then is further treated. During the pickling process, the steel is treated in an acid bath to remove the scale that is left behind from the hot rolling process when the steel is cooling. Once pickled, oil is applied to the steel in order to prevent rusting.

Application

Hot rolled pickled and oiled steel coils are used in a wide variety of applications. the most commonly applications are tubing, brackets, mounts, automotive frames, agricultural products, and exercise equipment.
